Byakuya's death scene was so bloody, emotional and dramatic, even I forgot/was unsure he survives and later is being thrown around in healing pools along with renji by squad zero pompadour guy in the soul king place... Also liked ichigo's tensa zangetsu had it's own pod by the pretty mechanical arms lady and that she and Mayuri have history!

Nice Squad 0 showed up and that slight glimpse of beloved Grimmjowl Jaegerjaquez behind Kisuke, being adorably hidden by cute busty Orihime!!! I loved she had some fondness with ulquiorra and grimmjowl! Missed him soo much ever since he suddenly got slashed aside by Noitora and Ichigo moved on from the fight.... Kisuke's voice is really the same and so nostalgic you can't tell the difference much!! Great to see Kon!! orihime's face looked cute in the transmission! soi fon was being a bittch again antagonizing the captains... and the fullbringers Kugo Ginjo with Kukaku!

i wouldn't call Shinji Hirako a major captain. he's been gone from the 13 Squads for over 100 years now due to Aizen. but as one of the two first graduates of the Soul Reaper Academy i would agree that Jūshirō Ukitake is a major captain.

they've recast those two? hmm, i really didn't notice. it is not like Mr. Smith is that prolific of a dub actor for anime. ever since his roles on Naruto Shippuden back in the 2000's he's barely had one role a year. but i am surprised at the recast for Jushiro and Mr. O'Brien... he has always been one of my favorite captains.
